Amity Gets Shutout Win Over Grizzlies
The Amity Spartans used 4 different pitchers that held the Guilford bats to just 2 hits, on their way to a 6-0, shutout win over the Grizzlies at GHS Field on Monday.
Sam Gettinger lead the Amity offense, his RBI single in the 3rd gave the Spartans a 1-0 lead, then his solo homer in the 5th made it 2-0. Amity would score 2 more in the 6th, and then 3 in the 7th to cap off their 6-0 win.
The Grizzlies now stand at 4-2 on the year, and will try and bounce back on Wed., 4/17, at 4 pm. when they take on the Morgan Huskies at home. Then Fairfiled Prep will visit GHS on Fri., 4/19, also at 4 pm.
